Internet that looks after your home — starting at your address
Every address is different. Tell us yours and we'll tell you exactly where you stand — whatever network you're on.
One plan. Two speeds. Protection included in both.
Other providers sell you the internet, then sell you protection separately — or not at all. We only do it one way.
Home Shield
A full house at once — around 8 to 10 devices streaming, gaming and working without anyone noticing anyone else.
Typical evening speed 500 Mbps download / 44 Mbps upload, measured 7pm–11pm. Available on nbn® FTTP and HFC connections.
Home Shield Gigabit
Nothing waits its turn — 15+ devices, big uploads, 4K on every screen, and a workday that never stalls.
Typical evening speed 875 Mbps download / 92 Mbps upload, measured 7pm–11pm. Available on nbn® FTTP and HFC connections.
Included with both plans
Same protection, same support, same terms. The only difference between the two plans is speed.
Protection that's already on
Malicious sites, viruses and intruders blocked at your front door, around the clock. Nothing to install, nothing to click. When you join we also check your email address against known data breaches and show you what we find.
Rules for every person, not every gadget
Screen time, bedtimes, apps and content filtering, set for each member of the family. Work calls first thing, streaming after dinner, gaming on the weekend — set the schedule once and forget it.
See what you'd otherwise never see
Every device that connects, every threat we've stopped, and where the hours actually go.
A static IP address, included
Your address doesn't change, so you can reach your cameras, your files or your home office from anywhere. No extra charge, on either plan.
A real person picks up
Your router arrives configured for your service and we'll walk you through getting connected. The person who answers is the person who set your service up, here in Australia.
Unlimited data. No lock-in. No surprises.
No introductory price that jumps in six months, no exit fees, and 30 days to change your mind — router included — if it isn't for you.
Stays online when the line drops
If your nbn® connection goes down, an automatic mobile backup keeps the essentials connected — so a work call or a homework deadline doesn't have to wait for the line to come back.
Things you should know
Pre-launch. Tutela Nova is not yet accepting service orders. Prices and plan details on this page are indicative as at 11 August 2026 and may change before launch. Registering your interest does not create a contract, order or obligation, and no service will be arranged without contacting you first.
Prices. All prices include GST and are charged monthly in advance. Prices shown are ongoing prices — there is no introductory rate and no scheduled increase within your first 12 months.
Founding 250. The first 250 Tutela Nova residential customers to activate a paid service have the plan charge shown held at that price for 24 months from the date their service is activated. The price lock applies to the plan charge only — not to equipment, and not to any change in GST or a government charge or levy. It is tied to the account, is not transferable, and ends if the service is cancelled. Founding places are allocated in order of activation. Standard pricing applies after the 24-month period.
Household guidance. Device counts are a general guide only. How many devices a connection comfortably supports depends on what each one is doing — video calls, 4K streaming and large uploads use far more capacity than browsing or music.
Speeds. Typical evening speed is the speed you can expect between 7pm and 11pm, when the network is busiest. Your actual speed depends on your connection type, in-home wiring, Wi-Fi conditions, the number of devices in use and the servers you connect to. Speeds over Wi-Fi are typically lower than over a cable connection.
Availability. Home Shield and Home Shield Gigabit are available on nbn® Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) and Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC) connections only. If your address is on another connection type, you may be eligible for nbn's free fibre upgrade programme — eligibility and timing are determined by nbn.
Mobile backup. When your nbn® connection is unavailable, supported equipment can switch to a mobile network to keep basic connectivity going. Backup performance and the data usable during an outage depend on mobile coverage at your address and are not equivalent to your nbn® service.
Checking your address. When you check an address we send it to our wholesale partner to find out what's available there. The answer is indicative — we confirm what's possible at your address before any service is arranged.
Equipment. The Wi-Fi router is $240 including GST, payable when you order. It is yours outright from the moment it ships — there are no repayments and nothing is owing if you leave. Your plan has no minimum term and no exit fee.
Money-back guarantee. If you cancel within 30 days of activation we will refund your plan charges and the cost of the router, provided the router is returned in good condition.
Data. Unlimited data, subject to our Fair Use Policy.
nbn® is a trade mark of nbn co limited and is used under licence. Full terms are set out in the Critical Information Summary for each plan and in our Standard Form of Agreement.
